Coptic (Egyptian Christian) feasts in January
In addition to Nativity feast 7 or 8 January,
Jan 15 – Feast of the Circumcision (one of seven 7 Minor feasts of the Lord celebrated with morning liturgy)- Luke 2:21-39
Jan 20 – Feast of the Epiphany (one of seven 7 Major feasts of the Lord celebrated with evening Liturgy night before) – Jn 1:18-34
Jan 22 – Feast of Wedding at Cana (One of Seven Minor feasts of the Lord celebrated with morning liturgy ) – Jn2:1-11
The church celebrates with joyful tunes!!!!!
